"It seems that no matter how many different styles of clothing, tackle bags and accessories anglers have to choose from, there is always something they are looking for that doesn't exist. Whether it's a bag that has the right amount of storage space or appropriate outerwear for specific conditions, outdoorsmen of all types have vivid images in their heads of products that will perfectly suit their needs. From its inception, Aquaskinz has demonstrated an uncanny ability to provide anglers with the products they have been looking for, and their "Medium Lure Bag" and "Bayman Pullover" are two more examples of the company's talent to provide what anglers want.
Aquaskinz was founded by a group of hard-core anglers who got tired of talking about the gear that wasn't available and decided to do something about it. The company has never lost sight of this vision, and continues to evolve with ever-changing demands. The Lindenhurst, New York based company's commitment to listening to their customers and their use of cutting edge technology and quality materials leaves no doubt that their logo will continue to be a familiar sight for years to come.
The Medium Lure Bag is a sweet combination of storage and mobility. It has become a standard along the coast for its ample space and manageable weight. The bag measures a roomy 13-inches wide by 4-inches deep by 9 1/4 inches high. The single row bag contains five custom-made, PVC tubes to hold every vital piece of an angler's arsenal. The flexible, worm-proof compartments are built for longevity, and their 8 1/4-inch by 2 1/2-inch square design not only ensures that big baits will have plenty of elbow room, but makes certain they will all fit. The bag also has a unique outer pocket that will hold over 20 tins and bucktails and a side pocket with a lanyard finishes off its impressive storage capabilities.
The Medium Lure Bag from Aquaskinz has been made to with stand a beating from the surf and the elements. It's constructed of heavy-duty vulcanized rubber, double-reinforced on the bottom and utilizes stainless steel grommets to provide quick drainage. Saltwater grade, rot proof thread has been added to all stress points to provide additional strength. To provide the bag with superior mobility, it has belt loops and rings to attach to a wading belt and a wide, sturdy shoulder strap that is attached with tri-glide connectors. The shoulder strap is padded for extra comfort and is fully adjustable.
The new Bayman Pullover is another fine specimen from Aquaskinz. For conditions that require minimal protection, this windproof, breathable pullover is absolutely perfect. It's super-effective for keeping out the wind and the water; however, its lightweight construction is not excessive during the warmer months of the year. The pullover's ability to keep out the chill is powered by its tough, Teflon-coated shell. A 3-ply inner core gives the Bayman its windproof, waterproof and breathable qualities, and neoprene cuffs and fully taped seams further ensure that the user is kept dry. The hood is equipped with a drawstring and is available when the elements call for it, but it's integrated and can be stowed away when it is not needed. Other features include a drawstring on the skirt and a large cargo pocket on the chest.
Check out Aquaskinz gear at your favorite tackle retailer, visit aquaskinz.com, or call 877-DRY-TOPS. For a first hand look, stop by their booth at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center this February 25th-28th in Oaks, PA."

"When bottom fishing on structure, it is a predetermined conclusion that you are going to lose rigs. Depending on how hairy the structure is that you fish, you might bring 10 or 20 plus rigs. The same thing can be said for surf anglers. Leaders sometimes snap and isn't always the case that it happens when the bite is red hot?
Every angler has their system for keeping rigs and leaders organized. My system used to be one plastic bag with rigs, another with leaders, and another with snelled hooks. That system can work ok, but not when you want to prioritize. Some sharpies out there can tie the same exact rig every time, one the button, no matter what. Admittingly, that is not me. If I tie ten rigs with a dropper loop above the sinker, there is always a few rigs that I like better than the rest. They will all work, but there are always a few that, for example, the loop is the right size or located just above the sinker where I want it. Obviously my favorite of the bunch is tied on first, but I want my backups prioritized.
The Aquaskinz Leader Wallet fufills my neurodic needs! The wallet contains 7 heavy duty clear PVC waterproof zip bags. In each bag, I place one of my favorite bottom fishing rigs. The wallet also contains a quick attachment swivel which is great for surf fishing. Stainless steel grommets allow for drainage so your rigs stay nice and dry. Industrial strength velcro is a big plus too. My additional rigs and leaders go in a plastic bag and as I make room in my wallet, I upgrade a few to the wallet.
This product is great to keep you orgainzed when it is time to retie. This product retails for $25. The Aquaskinz Leader Wallet and more innovative products that help you stay organized (and dry!) can be found at www.aquaskinz.com"

"I can always tell how deep i am into fishing season by the size of the
pile of discarded hocky tape on the floor of my truck. When i switched my surfcaster reels over to braided line a few years ago, it took just one nasty cut on my index finger to teach me that i need some sort of protection when casting heavy jigs.
The AquaSkinz Finger Shield is far more comfortable, flexible, (and durable then tape). The soft neoprene strap keeps the shield in place, and the kevlar finger padding is tough as nails.
I put the Finger Shield to work over a hard weekend of fishing, and it didnt disappoint. After Hours of heaving 5-ounce bucktails on heavy spinning gear, my shoulders and back gave out but the Finger Shield didnt."

"The new "Elite Hunter Pro Series" (from AquaSkinz).. is built to endure anything surfcasters and nature can throw at it.
This fantastic series is specifically built for the angler whose approuch and style tests both man and equipment. Available in both eight and four-tube models, the 8 1/4-inch by 3-inch, clear, lightweight,
and durable PVC tubes ensure ample storage room for an array of both plastic and wood plugs.
Two huge side pockets gives one the space to store an almost endless supply of line, leader material, pork rinds, and even larger
sized soft baits. Additional pockets in the front and under the flap provide the angler with the extra space... All AquaSkinz Elite Hunter Pro Series equipment is made right here in the United States."

(AquaSkinz Phantom) this is a great jacket for paddling, surfing or just as a serious rain jacket for any nasty weather.
The cut is one that allows you to get in and out with reasonable ease, unlike some paddle jackets that can a real problem to
get out of and can even result in damaging the jacket while doing so. Unlike most dry and semi-drytops which cater to 160 lbs.
paddlers, the Phantom goes to 3X in size and that should fit even the big boys just fine."

There's nothing that contributes more to a successful day on the water than does keeping dry, warm and comfortable - especially during the cold water season - and we know of no better product for doing so than an AquaSkinz Phantom Semi Dry Top. This garment eliminates nearly all shortcomings of conventional foul weather tops, and is considered by many hardcore anglers to be the ultimate fishing jacket.

After a long winter, getting back to fishing can be tough on the hands. On a recent early season fishing trip, I purchased the AquaSkinz Black Thunder Gloves. After using them for about a week, I'm happy to report my hands were spared the cuts and abrasions i usually get each spring. I really put the gloves to the test and I cant wait to try them out in my boat and while kayaking.
